The Irwin family are renowned as the ultimate Australian wildlife warriors and stars of multiple nature shows. But could the famous family and owners of Australia Zoo, which is believed to rake in millions each year, be facing a financial crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic?

In recent weeks, fans have noted that the Irwin family have become increasingly active about spruiking their spin-off merchandise.

Just last week, Bindi promoted her mum Terri’s ‘Crocodile Collection’ on Instagram by posting a snap of herself modelling items from the fashion line.

“I absolutely love my beautiful mum’s ‘Crocodile Collection’. Visit our online shop to find incredible gifts,” Bindi captioned the image.

The second part of the 21-year-old’s Instagram caption, however, tellingly revealed that this was more than just a branding exercise for the Irwins.
