With the final week of The Block here, and auction day looming the couples are starting to turn their attention to life after the series. With their relationships having survived everything that the show threw at them, couples Jesse and Mel, and Mitch and Mark, have opened up about what the future holds for them.
Young lovebirds Jesse and Mel are yet to tie the knot, but they reveal that now The Block is coming to an end they can’t wait to start a family. And, that takes priority over a wedding.
“We want kids first,” Mel says. “Marriage is just, well if it happens, it happens. We’d prefer to spend the money on raising kids and having a house.”
However, Jesse reveals that a wedding definitely isn’t off the cards and with auction day coming up, if the couple win big, a walk down the aisle will be right around the corner.
“If we win a bomb on The Block, we’ll have a big wedding,” he admits. “If we don’t, we’ll just wait.”
