Touching on sustainability, quality, and personalisation in in-flight dining, Singapore Airlines gave the world a taste of things to come at its World Gourmet Forum
For an airline that continues to be a great way to fly, Singapore Airlines (SIA) certainly pushes the envelope when it comes to delivering an exquisite customer experience for its passengers on every flight. In the past two decades alone, SIA has introduced a number of concepts which have revolutionised in-flight comfort, particularly in terms of dining. Over time, these firsts have served as the foundation for even more innovative service offerings for the airline.
Philippine Tatler witnessed the latest of these innovations at the World Gourmet Forum held last 21 March in Singapore, SIA presented a variety of fresh concepts that will be experienced by passengers across all classes beginning May 2019.
According to SIA Executive Vice-president for Commercial Mak Swee Hwa, “We are proud to have introduced many industry firsts in in-flight dining, including our Book the Cook service, as well as a pre-ordering service for Suites, First Class, and Business Class passengers.”
