Laila from Heropanti 2 seems every bit the camp villain. Did you have fun playing him?
I have wanted to play a character like him for a while, but, unfortunately, content-driven films hardly ever give you the chance to play such fun characters. Only in commercial films do you get that. When I heard the part, I suggested we give him some feminine qualities-in his walk, laugh. I didn't want him to be a stereotypical villain. He is brutally violent, but he can also suddenly be funny and foolish.
So, do commercial films then allow you to showcase different dimensions as an actor?
