Mukesh Kumar shares with Society his life’s journey while painting three dimensional artworks on streets.
If we go back to our holy book, Mahabharata, we would find that the palace Mayasabha was full of 3D street art illusions which were created by Mayasura for the Pandavas. Continuing the trend in today’s time is Mukesh Kumar, a 3D street artist, who is giving the Indian streets, pavements and floors an eye appealing makeover. It requires a mix of passion, creativity and determination to be able to make known any new art form, and considering Mukesh’s projects with India’s Got Talent and Star Movies, one can easily say he is on the right track.
Hailing from a small village in Haryana, 33-year-old Mukesh, after completing his bachelors and attaining art and craft teacher’s training, started his career as a private school teacher. Curious by nature, he was always interested in working on various art forms. Teaching for about seven years in various schools and later on in art colleges, followed by a couple of attempts to become a government school art educator, he realised that teaching wasn’t his final calling. It was at this point that he explored the anamorphic art style, and the 3D street artist was born.
