In today's cutthroat world most corporate employees will be suffering from various degrees of fatigue. Fatigue is not ordinary tiredness that you get when you do occasional hard work. Ordinary tiredness can be overcome with a good bath or some sleep. But fatigue is much deeper. It is the mind, body, and soul getting rusted. Fatigue cannot be cured by ordinary sleep or a nice bath. Fatigue is due to stress of various degrees.
Let me first tell the difference between tiredness and stress. Imagine a cup of hot coffee with three spoons of sugar. The sugar or sweetness is stress and the temperature is tiredness. If you keep the coffee on a table for some time the temperature will come down. But the sugar content or sweetness will remain intact. Fatigue is similar. It remains intact in your body even if you take ten hours of sleep.
Fatigue slowly enters or engulfs your mind, body, and spirit due to various types of stress. For example, dealing with cranky coworkers, bad bosses, court cases, family disputes, wayward children, etc., all lead to fatigue engulfing you. This is because you will be constantly under anxiety, fear, and headache. As days goes by your brain will become weak due to thinking overload. Fatigue is like the rust of the soul. As you are aware, a piece of iron when rusted does not reduce its rust if you just keep it in a cupboard. Similarly, your fatigue does not go away if you just sleep or take rest. It needs a different kind of treatment. Here are some common ways to reduce fatigue.
