Design and Build Quality
The 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens is constructed with a sturdy engineering plastic outer body. The lens has a matte finish, which provides it a professional feel. The zoom and focus rings have a textured rubber finish. The lens has a dust and moisture resistant design. The 24-105mm lens features a customisable focus hold button. The zoom ring is marked at 24, 35, 50,70 and 105mm focal lengths. The supplied petal shaped bayonet type lens hood has a non-reflective interior coating. A fluorine coating on the front element prevents oils, grime and water from sticking to the front of the lens. The lens has a metal mount.
