Can humans and androids co-exist? Quantic Dream’s latest offering explores that complex relationship

Detroit: Become Human

There’s no denying that smart devices are taking over the world. Our phones, cars, and even home appliances have a mind of its own. Fast forward to 2038, the year in which Quantic Dream’s latest game is set, and you’re in for a whole new adventure. We’re living in a futuristic world where technology has advanced to a point where ‘smart’ is taken to a whole new level; we’ve got Androids that look and behave like humans, work like humans (think TEx Machina) but are slaves in every sense of the term. And that’s where the journey begins. Detroit: Become Human is a third-person, over-the-shoulder free camera game that puts the player in the Android’s shoes to decide the fate of these machines.
