Interestingly, MSI has also designed the oft-ignored bottom base design to give the notebook a futuristic feel. When it comes to connectivity, the 2.66kg notebook packs in all the necessary ports at the side, including illuminated USB ports, USB Type-C 3.1, DisplayPort, HDMI, headphone jack, mic-in, Ethernet and SD card reader slot.The GE75 Raider 8SG comes with a 17.3-inch display supporting Full HD (1920x1080) resolution. While we would have preferred a panel option with a higher resolution, the Full HD IPS-level panel on the GE75 Raider 8SG is sharp with good colors, contrast and a refresh rate of 144Hz that helps reduce motion blur while gaming.Under the hood, the GE75 Raider 8SG is equipped with Intel&rsquo;s Core i7-8750H CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB of SSD with 1TB HDD, Nvidia&rsquo;s top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and the notebook handles process-intensive tasks and latest graphics-demanding games with ease, including the ones that support Ray Tracing and DLSS. The laptop is loud when it&rsquo;s being operated to its full potential but helps to keep the temperature in check with 31 whirlwind blade fans and enhanced cooling system with eight heat pipes.
