The races are spread across the United States around iconic areas to suit the different race types. For instance, you&rsquo;ll find yourself racing on the busy roads of New York City, off-roading at the Grand Canyon or performing acrobats above Lake Mead. The races are fun with easy controls and ample nitro boost. The rubber banding AI, however, does tend to take away from the gameplay.Just like the plethora of racing options, the game also allows choosing from a variety of vehicles. Players can drive cars, motorcycles, boats or even planes and we&rsquo;ve got some decent vehicle options from BMW, Audi, Mazda, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, KTM, Ford, Mercedes-Benz and many more. One of the things we like about the game is that you can swap the preferred vehicle on-the-fly with the Fast Fav feature. Tap a button on the controller and players can seamlessly jump from their favourite car or bike to a boat or a plane in Freedrive mode.As far as customisation goes, The Crew 2 offers a boatload of options to change or add the vehicle&rsquo;s decals, rims, headlight and taillight designs, and more. Upgrading the car&rsquo;s performance is fairly easy as well. You earn &ldquo;loots&rdquo; by completing events or find the performance parts scattered across the map. A player-versus-player mode (PvP) will be added soon as well.The Crew 2 is an arcade-racer and if you&rsquo;re looking for realism, you may want to look elsewhere. But if exploring Uncle Sam&rsquo;s land and at the same time having some fun with the number of vehicles that are on offer is your priority, the game will not disappoint.
