ASSISTANT HEAD CONCIERGE AT FOUR SEASONS HÔTEL GEORGE V PARIS
Paris is known around the world as the City of Light. What would you recommend visitors do in the evenings to really take in its beauty?
I would recommend a cruise on the River Seine as the city becomes magical in the evening when its monuments are illuminated. You will be won over by the charm of the Parisian bridges like the Pont Neuf and the Pont Alexandre III. During this cruise, the sparkling Eiffel Tower and the replica of the Statue of Liberty on the Swan Island will amaze you.
As a culinary capital what are three of your favourite restaurants that you would recommend our readers to try?
For a cool, relaxed and trendy atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Le George. The chef, Simone Zanoni offers a light and modern, Mediterranean-style cuisine for sharing. My second recommendation is Taillevent. The new chef, David Bizet, originally from Normandy, passionate about hunting, fishing and nature, imagined a menu respecting the history of Taillevent, food and wine pairing. My third choice, for traditional old-fashioned bistro dining, is Auberge Bressane.
