Ballito is a popular holiday destination not only for South Africans but tourists from all over the world. Situated 40km north of Durban, it is also fondly known as the Dolphin Coast due to regular sightings of bottlenose dolphins which frequently frolic in the waves all along its coastline.
Over the years its grown from a sleepy holiday town to a thriving community of permanent residents who now call it home. The small town village atmosphere hasn’t dissappeared though, and Ballito still offers a welcome haven from the hustle and bustle of city life.
