Ans: You need to check the veins first to check the undertone of a person. If they look greenish its warm undertone and if they are purple its cool undertone. Now, when you are trying to match a foundation you need to find the shade which covers your undertone the best.
What is the best lighting setup for makeup artists?
Ans: Natural light is supposed to be the best light, but that’s not possible every time. If you are choosing artificial light then warm yellow tones are the best to select. You can have a ring light or a series of yellow lights as a professional makeup artist.
How do you deal with rude or dissatisfied clients as a makeup artist?
Ans: As a makeup artist I meet all kinds of people, some being rude or dissatisfied, I personally try to listen to them and understand what they really want from the artist and try to deliver the same.
What is Beauty according to you?
Ans: Beauty for me is the inner self which is kind and peaceful, that shows on to the world outside. I believe that all women are beautiful without makeup but with makeup they can be pretty powerful.
