How much fun have the Miami Dolphins become in just one year?
Forget for a second about them being good and so insanely improved over last year — we’ll get to that later – but how enjoyable are they to watch as we head into the final stretch of the 2020 regular season.
You’ve got an offense that’s now led by the hotshot rookie quarterback who keeps making pinpointaccurate throws, often while on the move, and making things happen even when plays break down, even going so far as juking some of the best defenders in the NFL in the open field.
His name would be Tua Tagovailoa, in case you weren’t aware, and the early returns through his first three starts were really impressive even if he hadn’t yet thrown for at least 250 yards in a game.
What Tua was doing was making key plays at key moments and avoiding some of the really bad mistakes that have haunted the quarterback picked right after him in the 2020 NFL draft, Justin Herbert — though it’s only fair to point out that Tua had a couple of close calls.
And how much fun does DeVante Parker continue to be with his acrobatic catches down the sideline.
