Everton Under-23s had been confirmed as the Premier League Two champions with one game to go against Liverpool at Goodison Park.
It was an occasion that Liam Walsh was looking forward to and after that coronation fixture he was going to be a part of the England Under-20 team heading to South Korea for the World Cup.
