So many of us win the war against unwanted body fat in order to GET lean, but not so many of us are able to maintain those shreds.
It’s January and there’s a good chance getting in decent shape is top of your list.
Thankfully, sustainable fat loss is achievable and I’m going to show you how!
Okay, so you want to lose body fat, but you still want to…
Enjoy yourself
Stay social and enjoy eating those cheat meals!
The good news is, there’s more to life than chicken breast. There are so many more lean protein sources you can enjoy.
FOR SUSTAINED LOW BODY FAT, YOU NEED TO BE EATING CLEAN ABOUT 70-80% OF THE TIME.
Foods for your fridge. The following foods are all clean sources of protein, carbs or fats that I’d recommend incorporating into your long-term diet plans.
These are all clean, nutritious foods that will help you GET lean and then STAY lean. This is only a small part of the puzzle though, because you can eat too much of any food. Although these choices are healthy, they still contain calories. You need to be able to control your calorie intake. For this to happen, you need to have an basic overall understanding of food in general.
The main thing I like to concentrate on when it comes to controlling body fat is carbohydrates. Let’s be real, all of us love carbs. I love chocolates, especially white chocolate and yes I do have binges too! Our body uses carbs as our first energy source. When there are minimal amounts of carbs in our body, it will use our fat stores for energy- simple. This is when the magic happens! To ensure my body burns fat for energy, I like to control my calorie intake by varying my carb levels on a daily basis. This is what’s called carb cycling. I’m not saying this is the only way to shred fat, but I believe this is a great way to stay lean and still being able to enjoy the finer things in life.
