iFitness catches up with Nat to find out more.
Multi-talented actor, singer and host Nat Ho has come a long way since he joined Singapore Idol in 2004 and was later nominated for the Best Newcomer award in Star Awards 2007. He then ventured to Taiwan to launch his music career. Recently, he is a familiar face on MediaCorp Channel 5 with his charming character Jay Lim Jun Kai in the popular English drama Tanglin.
You returned from Taiwan in 2015 to film the TV series Tanglin. And you are now filming season 2 that will stretch to Jan 2017. How has the experience been so far? Any regrets rooting yourself out of Taiwan to come back home?
It’s been an amazing experience. I feel like I’ve struck the lottery because the cast is great, the crew is great, the production team is great. It helps so much when you like and get along with the people you have to work with everyday. Honestly, it doesn’t feel like work, more like going to have fun with friends. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive at first to come back to do this show, because I felt like I was breaking whatever momentum I had built up in Taiwan. But now, almost 2 years on, I can say for sure that I have no regrets. The response to this show has been phenomenal and career-wise, the momentum has really picked up even more than when I first left Singapore, and I’m super thankful for that.
“My Squad is Better Than Yours”, where you are a leader of your squad, seems like a lot of fun making. Care to share some interesting moments while filming it?
