And smart people recognised that about India’s most glamorous diva within five minutes of meeting her. Astute, shrewd and on the ball, Parmeshwar didn’t waste a precious minute on nobodies. She once told me tiredly, “Who wants to spend time with these bores?” Those ‘bores’ happened to be captains of industry, her husband Adi’s contemporaries. Who indeed? I agreed with her entirely.
