With the advent of technology and easy access to the internet, people are becoming more mindful about the health benefits of organic food products. Organic farming or organic agriculture is about the farming methods and techniques that pay close attention to the nature. The organic farming techniques apply natural fertilizers such as manure or compost to feed soil and plants. It offers benefits for animal welfare and gives animals organic feed. It uses the preventive methods such as rotational grazing to help minimize diseases. Conventional farming, on the other hand, applies chemical fertilizers to promote plant growth, sprays insecticides to reduce pests and diseases, uses chemical herbicides to manage weeds and gives antibiotics to animals, growth hormones and medications to prevent diseases.
