IT’S SO FAR, SO GOOD!

WE’RE ALL EMBRACING IT

FOOTBALL is a big part of my life and I thought I’d probably seen it all until this season.

But I never expected to be having medical tests before we take part in the play-offs. It’s a new one for all of us.

The test is a horrible experience. When they put the swab down your throat it makes you gag.

Then they have to push one up your nose until they feel resistance. I thought it would be just to get a bit of residue but this feels like they’re cleaning your brain!

We have to have tests every week. It’s a small price to pay to get our play-offs played.

Results at Dartford have come back all clear and on Tuesday we were back in non-contact training, then later in the week to full contact.

It’s great to be with the players again. They look really sharp. We did some fitness tests and they surprised me how well they did. That shows me they’ve been working hard on their own for the last few months. I’m really impressed.
