GRANDMOTHER Kath Bebbington vowed to lead a healthier life after surviving womb cancer.
She was hit with a diagnosis in 2014 and, while she will never know why the disease struck, admits she was heavier than she would have liked.
Kath, 62, from Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, said: “When you hear the word ‘cancer’ your mind runs riot and I was thinking, ‘Am I going to live to see my grandchildren grow up?’
“Back in 2013, I’d been experiencing blood loss at different times and just put it down to menopause. My daughter urged me to go and get it checked as I’d missed my smear test that year.
