Love And Support To Cheer Our New King
Daily Express|September 15, 2022
From the very word go, the warmth was palpable. King Charles, looking shellshocked with grief as his destiny came to fruition after so many years, has been hit by a tidal wave of affection and goodwill as he ascended to the throne. More than once over the last week he has been on the verge of tears: when he made his first address to the nation, when members of the Houses of Commons and Lords sang God Save The King, when accepting the greetings of his subjects, as we now are. And he deserved it, too.
Love And Support To Cheer Our New King

It has been said that this national will for him to succeed is down to his mother, and that is of course part of it, but it’s more than that. Of course King Charles has made mistakes, as have we all, but it’s patently obvious that he’s a decent man who has tried to make the best out of a sometimes difficult life.
