A teenager has been left fighting for his life after being knifed at one of the gatherings.
About 4,000 people attended a “quarantine rave” in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, on Saturday night which police said breached coronavirus lockdown rules.
An 18-year-old male was one of three people stabbed as more than 2,000 people descended on woodland in nearby Carrington for a second rave.
Greater Manchester Police said a 20-year-old man who attended the Droylsden rave died following a “suspected drug overdose”.
There were three separate stabbings. One left the 18-year old with life-threatening injuries, while two men aged 25 and 26 were also hurt.
