BRITAIN is today hosting a meeting of world justice ministers to discuss potential war crimes in Ukraine after an arrest warrant was issued for Vladimir Putin.
It comes after it issued an arrest warrant for Russia's President Putin because of his alleged involvement in the abduction of around 16,000 children from occupied areas of Ukraine. The charges were immediately dismissed by the Kremlin which does not recognize the court as "legally void".
It is the first time it has issued a warrant against a leader of one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council.
