BORIS Johnson abused his position to have a sexual relationship with a young woman in 2008, she has claimed.

Mr Johnson, an MP and London Mayor at the time, also reportedly pushed for her to get a City Hall job.

There are calls for a probe into the “deeply distressing” allegations. Mr Johnson has denied any wrongdoing.

It is claimed he lobbied for her to get a job weeks after they met. But the appointment is said to have been blocked as his City Hall colleague, Kit Malthouse, now a Tory minister, said the pair appeared to have an inappropriately close relationship.

At the time, Mr Johnson had just become mayor. He was 43 and the woman was in her 20s. He reportedly launched into a fourletter rant during a taped conversation with the w oman w h en sh e confronted him in 2017.
