Cristiano Ronaldo walked out of Old Trafford 10 minutes before the end of Manchester United's draw with Rayo Vallecano to fuel further speculation around his future.
Having made his first appearance since asking to leave the club to pursue Champions League football, the unhappy 37-year-old was substituted by Erik ten Hag at half-time of United's final preseason fixture yesterday.
And instead of watching the entire second half Ronaldo made his way to the exit and was spotted by fans also looking to beat the rush home.
The players who were not in yesterday afternoon's squad - including Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea left the directors' box together with a similar amount of time remaining in the match but it was unclear if Ronaldo had been given permission to leave early.
