ONE of Britain’s last surviving D-Day veterans has completed his final mission – to help secure a memorial for every comrade who died there.
Harry Billinge, 96, said it was his “last duty” to get a tribute recording the 22,442 service personnel who died under British command in the Battle of Normandy.
