Rashford makes the case for supporting hungry children

FOOTBALL star Marcus Rashford says the decision about whether to do more to feed Britain’s hungry children should be a very easy one.

The England player, whose campaign forced two Government U-turns on free school meals last year, spoke out as MPs debated a petition calling for extra assistance for hard-up families.

The Manchester United forward, 23, told Channel 4: “In life there’s the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do... it’s as simple as that.

“If somebody needs help, if you’re in a position to help them, you should help them.”
