7-Days' Quarantine Is Risky Enough, Thanks

SCOTLAND is not going to reduce the Covid-19 quarantine period despite a minister from the UK Government backing the idea of dropping England's isolation period from seven days to five.

Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf said it had already been risky for Scotland to reduce its isolation period from 10 days to seven.

Speaking after UK Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi backed dropping England's quarantine from seven days to five, Yousaf said Scotland was sticking at seven days.
