Josh Taylor hopes he can inspire the Scotland team in their Euro bid and the world champ has even offered to give Steve Clarke his Wembley team talk.
The undisputed ring king is used to going into the lion’s den after cleaning up the light welterweight division with his sensational victory against home favorite Jose Ramirez in Las Vegas last month.
But the Tartan Tornado reckons he can also be the secret weapon for the Scots as they head into the Three Lions’ den next week.
Taylor was at German Doner Kebab’s restaurant in Glasgow yesterday parading his four world title belts and said: “Hopefully I can get into the changing room before the game and give them a bit of inspiration. That’d be cool.
“Especially before the England game, it would be amazing to go in and fire them up. I think – and I hope – they can take inspiration from what I’ve done.
“You do take inspiration from other sports and sports people. In terms of motivation, you look to other athletes.
