The family of the victim of Scots child killer Adam Stein have issued a fresh warning after he changed his name.
Stein, originally of Glasgow, was released in March – 35 years after he abducted, raped and suffocated Collette Gallacher, six, in Corby, Northamptonshire.
But the 61-year-old has made a bid to conceal his identity by legally scrapping his name and Collette’s family have issued a formal complaint to probation chiefs after they were barred from the information.
Collette’s sister Claire Holmes, 29, said: “The public deserve to know who he is.
