More than a million people in Britain have been left suffering with symptoms, with some now disabled and unable to return to work, including care workers.
Sufferers reacted with fury after the Covid-19 Inquiry heard the former prime minister wrote the abusive term across the Department of Health document in October 2020.
Anthony Metzer KC, representing Long Covid sufferers, said Johnson admitted in his own witness statement he did not believe the condition "truly existed" and it was "Gulf War syndrome stuff".
