MORE than 100 stars and public figures are urging Boris Johnson to keep his promise to ban trophy hunting.
Actors Sir David Jason, Sir Michael Caine, and Sir Michael Palin, and comic Ricky Gervais are among those to sign an open letter to the Prime Minister.
They begged him to end the “barbaric” hunts – three years after he vowed to do so in September 2019.
Since then, more than 600 endangered animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, and hippos have been slaughtered by Brits.
The PM’s own dad, Stanley Johnson, said: “It’s a disgraceful activity and needs to be banned now.”
