Ben Stokes is ready to put all his energy into helping turn the England Test team around just like he did for the white-ball side seven years ago.
Back then Stokes had missed out on the horror show that was the 2015 World Cup, but became a central figure in the rebuild, all the way to the 2019 triumph four years later.
And he wants to play just as central a role in the Test team’s resurgence as they try to pick themselves up from the low of 10 defeats in 14 matches and a 4-0 Ashes heartbreak.
