A THIEF who stole a bike from Jeremy Vine’s neighbour has been jailed – following an appeal in the Daily Star.
The BBC Radio 2 host blasted police on Twitter for refusing to intervene when his neighbour, who is a mental health nurse, found her stolen bike was being sold online.
The NHS worker, known only as Joey, said officers told her it would be “entrapment” if they went with her to arrest the thief after she traced his ad.
