A Police officer was last night charged with the murder of Sarah Everard.
Armed diplomatic protection officer Wayne Couzens, 48, is accused of kidnapping and killing the marketing exec.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today for his first hearing.
Yesterday police confirmed that remains found in Ashford, Kent, were those of Sarah, 33.
They were searching tunnels under a garage 25 miles from where Couzens used to work.
He had worked at his family run BCB garage, now derelict, in Western Heights, Dover, for 20 years before joining the police. Officers are searching military tunnels backing onto it.
