National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Saturday that UAE has achieved the highest rate of COVID-19 vaccine doses distribution for medically eligible groups who meet all requirements with a rate of 24.58 doses per 100 people, since the launch of the vaccine national campaign.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 131,939 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.
The total number of doses provided up to Saturday stands at 1,797,926 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 18.18 doses per 100 people.
MoHAP announced on Saturday that it has conducted 151,096 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 3,432 new coronavirus cases.
The Ministry also announced 7 deaths due to COVID-19 complications.
It also noted that an additional 3,118 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19.
The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee for the COVID-19 Pandemic approved allowing entry into the emirate within 48 hours of receiving a negative PCR or DPI test result, instead of 72 hours.
