He shared the big news with an adorable post on social media yesterday.
In the snap John and Tara are holding the sleeping little one and gazing adoringly at him.
The proud dad said: “Let the adventures begin James”.
The pair also shared another picture of the baby boy shortly after he was born and sleeping soundly in his cot, which they set as a profile picture for his Instagram account.
This is the first child for John and Tara, who revealed they were expecting their first baby in September when the couple posted pics from their Donegal staycation.
