Sinfield & smith proposals get provisional green light

Rugby League bosses are open to the pay-per-view proposals aired by Kevin Sinfield and Tony Smith at the weekend – but must secure the backing of Sky.

Sinfield (right) and Smith (above) gave their support to a plan, based on an idea from agent Craig Harrison, that would see Super League return to action behind closed doors, with all matches televised every weekend.
