Leo: No Advice To Bring Back Mask Wearing

TAOISEACH Leo Varadkar has insisted there is no advice for Ireland to move back to mandatory mask wearing.

It comes following pleas from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation to return to compulsory face coverings to cut down on the number of people on trolleys.

The Irish Medical Organisation also issued a stark warning that deaths have and will continue to occur because of the number of patients on standby for beds.

There were 534 people waiting on trolleys yesterday morning. This is up on Monday’s figures, when there were 489 people facing delays.
