PRIEST'S SORROW AT TEEN CRASH DEATH

A PRIEST who gave last rites to a teenage boy killed in a road crash has said "words can't express the sadness" felt following the death.

The young lad died in a single-vehicle collision in the townland of Dowling, near Mullinavat in South Kilkenny, at around 8pm on Wednesday.

A Garda spokesman said the teen was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to University Hospital Waterford, for a postmortem.

Two other young men, aged in their 20s, were in the car at the time and they were brought to hospital for treatment for their injuries.
