Singapore Troll Could Face 2yrs In Jail For Threats To Prem Star
A PREMIER League footballer has welcomed the prosecution of a teenager who sent him threatening messages online from Singapore.

Brighton striker Neal Maupay, 24, was targeted on Instagram after scoring a late winner against Arsenal last year.

Thanks to the league’s online abuse system, authorities tracked down Gunners fan Derek Ng De Ren, 19.

Using an anonymous account, the Singaporean wrote: “Don’t worry you will be safe you won’t be hurt. It’s more fun watching you feel pain when your loved ones go through suffering.”

Ng admitted harassment and could face up to two years’ jail and a fine.
