Teen Who Stabbed Pal To Death Jailed For Life

The family of a teenager who stabbed his friend to death for calling him a “rat” wept yesterday as he was jailed for life.

The 17-year-old, who can’t be named because he is a minor, pleaded guilty in August to the murder of Glen “Ossie” Osborne on April 15.

The 20-year-old’s partner Lauren Cray gave birth to their first child two months after his death at Ballybough House in Dublin.

The boy will remain at O berstown Detention Centre until his 18th birthday when he will be transferred to an adult prison.
