THE ruling which legalised abortion nationwide in America almost 50 years ago is set to be overturned by the US Supreme Court, a leaked document suggests.
It has prompted an angry backlash, with protests across the country.
President Joe Biden weighed in by saying he opposes the law being changed, adding: “A woman’s right to choose is fundamental.”
The leaked document shows a draft opinion indicating the Supreme Court will strike down the Roe v Wade ruling of 1973.
