THE brilliant Honeysuckle is taken to make a winning return to action in the Grade 1 Baroneracing.com Hatton’s Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse this afternoon.
The highlight of a superb card will see Henry De Bromhead’s unbeaten mare bid to make it three wins in succession in this race.
She lacks the advantage of a recent run and that does give her rivals some degree of hope.
However, she is head and shoulders above these opponents on last season’s form which yielded four straight Grade 1 triumphs.
The obvious highlight was her easy Champion Hurdle win at Cheltenham in March which marked her out as one of the great mares.
She will surely improve from this run and others in the line up have the advantage of a recent outing but she still cannot be opposed.
