MAN IS CHARGED OVER ‘AIR RAGE'

A MAN was remanded in custody last night charged over an alleged "air rage" incident on board a Ryanair flight.

Judge Mary Larkin remanded loan Remi Makula, 25, in custody to next Wednesday at a special sitting of Ennis District Court.

Defence solicitor Tara Godfrey said there was no application for bail on behalf of the accused, of Fearann Ri, Doughiska, Galway.

He is charged with engaging in behaviour of a threatening, abusive or insulting nature whether by word or gesture with intent to cause a breach of the peace, or being reckless as to whether a breach of the peace might have taken place.
