TAOISEACH Micheal Martin has said he plans to lead Fianna Fail into the next general election and has no plans to reshuffle his Cabinet in 2021.
Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien has recently said the Cork TD should lead his party into the next election.
Mr. Martin said of Mr. O’Brien: “He’s a very wise man, you know. I am intrigued as to how this has developed into a storyline.
“Yes, I’ve said this before, I am on the record as saying I intend to lead Fianna Fail into the next election, yes.”
Next month will mark Mr. Martin’s 10-year anniversary as leader of Fianna Fail.
But he would not budge on how much longer he sees himself being a leader.
