SCISSOR SISTER ‘ONE STEP FROM FREEDOM'

SCISSOR Sister Charlotte Mulhall is one step closer to freedom and could soon be given unsupervised day release from jail, it has been claimed.

The mother of one recently enjoyed an escorted temporary release from Limerick Prison to go and visit family in Dublin.

One source told the Irish Sunday Mirror it's likely Ireland's longest-serving female inmate will now be given a program to prepare her for full release soon.

According to the source, the 37-year-old, who was moved from Dublin's Dochas Centre to Limerick Prison on Christmas Eve 2018 following claims she was found in a compromising position with a female warder, could soon see more day releases being granted, including on her own.
