Social media our secret weapon in war against tyranny

Much in the same way video killed the radio star, Google's search engine has been the death knell for the Russian thug's standing in the international community.

Adolf Hitler would have been deposed much earlier if Twitter existed 80 years ago.

It would have put a spotlight on the evil being executed in those heinous gas chambers.

Most of the world was oblivious to Hitler's Final Solution until well after the Nazis were defeated.

But now we hear within minutes when the Russians bomb buildings marked "children” and massacre civilians queuing for bread.

Putin might have hoodwinked most Russians about the invasion, but it would have been far worse had he managed to cut the WiFi in Ukraine.

Many more rogue nations would then have bought into his Grimm's Fairy Tales version of the war if it were all happening behind a digital Iron Curtain.

Instead, we're getting everything straight from the horse's mouth because it's a war being played out in real time on social media.
