‘India Growing Faster Than US & China'

Admitting that there was a ‘slump’ in some sectors like real estate and infrastructure and attributing it to a slowdown in the global economy, Union Road Transport and MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasized that the situation will improve soon.

Speaking at India Today Conclave Mumbai, Gadkari also assured that the economy will soon accelerate creating jobs thus leading to achieving the target of a $5 trillion economy.

“Our government is investment friendly. Our Prime Minister has a vision based on which we are planning to build a $5 trillion dollar economy. Our policies will help us achieve a good GDP and we will be successful in making the country financially strong” Gadkari said while speaking about the present status of the economy.
